Pura Vida Surf Contest & Beach Clean Up In Costa Rica!
July 24th 2010, Surf Happens teamed up with Pura Vida Church to present Playa Esterillos Surf Fiesta & Beach Cleanup! A group of Santa Barbara groms, and local tico kids and adults gathered for an all day beach cleanup and surf contest. Surf Happens provided cash and prizes to the finalists, pura vida!

Surf Happens Visits the Santa Barbara Earth Day Festival!
Earth day was born on April 22, 1970 in Santa Barbara California to celebrate and protect our planet. Now, some 41 years later the event continues to grow into a global phenomenon. The little things that we do every day to reduce our impact on the environment go a long way over time, especially when many people do their part. This past weekend featured an amazing and ecclectic affair with 100's of environmental groups and vendors educating and celebrating with 1,000's of attendees of all ages. Surf Happens was honored to be a part of the festivities and had one of the hottest booths featuring Indo Boards, and NoH2O balance trainers. I even got to meet Planet Earth himself! We received a special Green Family award sponsored by parentclick.com and would like to thank all of the organizers for putting on such an amazing event, and all the families for stopping by!
